Due to a buisness trip, I ended up in Saanen near Gstaad in Switzerland in February 2007. After staying one night in the Steigenberger hotel in Saanen, we left to stay in the more modest priced hotel Bruno Kernen in Schönried. Nice detail is the fact that the owner, Bruno Kernen, was a professional skier in the mid-eighties.
Skiing was not too great as there was not that much snow. Never the less, I enjoyed skiing in the Gstaad Mountain Rides for a few days.
Apart from skiing we enjoyed some excellent wine, food (restaurant Hüsy in Sankt Stephan/Blankenburg was really great!) and Raclette or cheese-fondue.
